Binaural Beat Frequencies – Discover 7 of the Amazing Effects of Binaural Beats

February 8th, 2010

Talking about binaural beat frequencies has become the topic of hot discussion on all the social sites and forums lately and I know why. If used correctly, binaural beat frequencies will provide you with exceptional relief of all your anxiety and stress. They can also elevate your meditational experiences to levels you have never before attained. Once you have tried it you will be amazed at the capabilities of binaural beat frequencies.

These frequencies have been used in meditation for well over a century. Their beneficial qualities and their effects on our bodies have been studied and well documented by many universities and laboratories. The research shows that these beat frequencies have an effect on your auditory brain stem. By playing two frequencies that are very close to each other, one in each ear, the brain will combine the two and will create its own frequency from the two original. This frequency will be one that is below the audible frequency that the ear can normally hear. But, as it was created by the brain it will have a tremendous beneficial effect on your mind.

Binaural frequencies can be so easy and simple to use, all you need to do is listen to gentle and relaxing music and sound recordings on a set of stereo headphones. These recordings have the beats layered into the background of the track so all you need do is lay back, relax and enjoy. Everyone I have talked to about their experiences have said that they felt deeply relaxed within only five or ten minutes of playing the recordings.

Following is just seven of the positive effects that have been reported to me by real people that have used binaural beat frequencies:

1. Some experienced a boost in creativity.
2. After several sessions, many felt an increase in energy levels.
3. A great improvement in the length and quality of sleep was felt by most.
4. Some had even found the ability to remain very calm during stressful situations.
5. Others had heightened meditation experience.
6. Many reported a greater sense of awareness.
7. Some people even reported an out of body experience for the first time.

The beat frequencies can be one of the best and simplest ways to relieve all the stress and anxiety that your everyday life brings you every day. They require no effort on your part to use other than relaxing with a set of headphones on, playing relaxing and soothing sounds for ten or fifteen minutes daily. That’s it just relax and listen. They can be played on almost any audio medium you can think of, your MP3 player, a portable CD player, your laptop or desktop. You don’t need to attend any expensive or boring classes that may take years to master the meditation techniques that they teach.

Binaural beat frequencies offer you the easiest way to have the relaxation, stress relief, and inner peace that everyone wants in their life. They are easily available in a number of places and the simplest way to get them is to download them from the Internet. I advise you to experience the power for yourself, download a free sample and try it out before you spend any money. Listen to them and experience for yourself the benefits of binaural beat frequencies.

To obtain a greater understanding of the excellent benefits of Binaural Beat Frequencies and to get your FREE sample recordings, please take a moment and visit: http://www.Binaurals.info you will be amazed at what you discover.

Don’t let fear get in your way

February 7th, 2010

I am afraid of water. Whenever I wash my face or shampoo my hair, I would clench my eyes, yes clench as in clenching my fists. My eyes are sensitive to water and I would feel pain if water gets into my eyes. Till today, although I have tried on a few occasions to learn how to swim, I cannot even float in water.

Having said that, I did not allow my fear of water deprive me of the pleasure I could associate with it. I enjoy sitting on the raised rock stones by the beach and gazing into the ocean. Whatever mood I was in, I will be instantly transported to a place of peace and calm. I also enjoy the soothing sounds of waterfall, the refreshing warm bath and the therapeutic effects of hot spring bath. If I have let my fear of water get in my way, I will never know the joy that water can bring.

How about you? Do you have a fear for heights, a fear for taking the plane? Are you afraid to ask questions for fear of being labeled stupid? Don’t let fear get in your way. Be open to possibilities. Give yourself a chance. You will never know the joy and more if you leave the door closed.

I know of people who are afraid to take planes. They have a phobia for heights and fear that the plane will crash or something bad will happen. If you have this phobia, try to overcome it bit by bit. Choose a short trip. Imagine the exciting places and cultures you will get to experience once you reach your destination. Perhaps you can give the window seat a miss on your first flight. Wear something comfortable. During take-off, just close your eyes and say a little prayer. Chew a little gummy. Before you know it, the plane is in mid air and be rest assured that you will not feel any sense of height up there. Do something you enjoy – read a book, watch a movie, listen to music or simply play a game. The cabin crew will start serving drinks. Enjoy the drink, enjoy the service. Be happy in whatever you are engaged in. In no time, the plane will prepare for landing and there you are, safe and sound on the ground and ready to have fun.

Once you have crossed the hurdle, you will realize that your fear is actually baseless, just your imaginations and perceptions based on limited information or distorted facts. So, don’t deprive yourself of the joy you can have. Be brave, cross the hurdle.

Creating Change: Step 4A – Work through your blocks to change

February 7th, 2010

If you’ve used some of the tools I’ve been teaching, you have probably identified fears and beliefs about yourself, the world, life, and “the way things are” that are consciously or unconsciously keeping you from realizing your dreams. It’s only when you identify these limiting beliefs that you can work to dissolve them, which you must, if you don’t want them to continue to sabotage you. An effective way of working with beliefs involves challenging them cognitively. Byron Katie has developed a powerful technology for challenging beliefs in her Work, and I’ve adapted a few of her methods here.

Cognitive Inquiry
We can challenge our beliefs by asking ourselves questions and being scrupulously honest in our answers. Often we believe things that we’ve never questioned, that we just assume are so. Now is the time to challenge all assumptions!

For instance, if one of your main reasons for not moving forward on a dream is that you think you’re too old, ask yourself if you know for a fact that that is true. I like to ask, would it hold up in a court of law? Remember, if there is even the shadow of a doubt, the jury cannot convict, and neither should you. It is your supposition, not a proven fact. Collect evidence that might actually support the opposite – search out examples of people your age or older who achieved what you desire or even greater things. You’ll be amazed at what you find.

If you believe you cannot succeed, can you absolutely know that to be true? Obviously you cannot. Yet you act as though it were a given. Notice how your behavior is based on myths you have created and which you never question.

Another thing to look at is, “How do you react when you believe that thought?” When you tune into your felt sense of your body/mind/feelings in relation to the belief that you can’t succeed, what do you notice? Do you feel stronger or weaker? More happy and hopeful or more despondent and collapsed? How does it affect your energy and mood? Do you like it?

If it affects you negatively, how does this impact your chances of succeeding? What is it really that makes you unlikely to succeed? Your age or your negative beliefs, that lower your energy? Ask yourself, “Is this belief productive?” Does it support your goals or undermine them? Is this what you want? Which beliefs would support you better? Make a list of beliefs that would be your allies, not your enemies.

A very liberating question to contemplate is: “Who would I be without this thought?” Let yourself temporarily let go of your limiting belief – just let the idea that you can’t succeed completely dissolve and evaporate – and notice what that feels like. Realizing it is actually only a thought helps you do this.

Once you let it go (temporarily) you may get a glimpse into a state of freedom you didn’t know was available to you. Linger awhile there, taste and enjoy that freedom and spaciousness, and what it opens for you as possibilities..

Continuing the courtroom metaphor, you might also try on the argument for your defense instead of always being the prosecutor. Taking the question of whether or not you can succeed, search your memory for examples of yourself succeeding, going all the way back to Kindergarten if necessary. Do an inventory of your little and big successes. Most of them you probably have forgotten, dismiss, or diminish in value, but they all count! Your friends and family may be helpful here.
When you’ve done all of these steps, you will have seriously loosened the grip of that negative belief. You will no longer be able to believe it naively, as you once did.

If you’re still having doubts, consider the insight that something can be possible even if it’s not probable. In other words, you don’t have to believe it’s likely that you’ll achieve your goals, only that it is remotely possible! But then you have to take action and invest in that possibility!

It helps greatly to find role models — others in your category (too old, no education, whatever it is) who have actually succeeded. And believe me, they are all around if you look for them. A book I heartily recommend (in which I happen to have a chapter) is Overcomers, Inc.: True Stories of Hope, Courage, and Inspiration. If that book doesn’t convince you that anything is possible, nothing will.

If others can do it, why can’t you?

February 7th, 2010

I could not remember exactly when, but a powerful thought came to me when I was in lower primary. Prior to that year, I came in 8th in class. There were slightly less than 40 of us, so it was not bad really, I thought. Then, out of nowhere, there was this small voice that came whispering to me, “If others can be in the top 3, why can’t you?” I was stunned for a moment. Very simple, yet very true. I could not recall what raced through my mind thereafter, but one thing for sure, I knew that I could do anything, if I wanted to and if I believed so. The following year, I came in 2nd in class.

Applying this maxim, there were several instances that I rose against the odds. But let me just touch on one incident that occurred a few years back. The company I was working in held a table-tennis doubles tournament. I was a beginner then, and even had problem serving the ball. But I was lucky in a way that my partner was a relatively strong player. Even then, the odds were against us as I was the weaker link. Nevertheless, I told myself that we could do it and I even started to visualize the swift, yet powerful smashes I made although I could not execute a smash properly.

As I was motivated to prove that we could, I spent time practicing. With will power, mind power and what had we, we managed to get into the finals. It was a very exciting match. Our opponents were stronger as one of them was a 1st runner-up in the singles game and the other was certainly a much stronger player than myself. We lost the 1st game, but we did not give up and continued to fight harder in the 2nd game. Interestingly, the game came to a deuce. We kept our cool and won the 2nd game. The situation was tense in the 3rd game as it was the deciding one. Again, we came to a deuce. Although it was a friendly match, but when caught in such a game situation, it was near nerve-racking. Nonetheless, the sweetness of overcoming the odds was well worth the momentary struggle.

It became clear to me that we are actually powerful beings beyond imagination, although the giant in us may be asleep until awaken. Sometimes, we just need someone to remind us that we are greater than we seem and that we can rise against the odds. If there is something that you wish to achieve in life, please remember that you are all powerful and that you can do anything if you want to. But first, you must believe that you can.

Creative Reasoning

February 4th, 2010

The clear and distinct difference between government establishments and the private sector in any part of the third world is the method of thinking. One thrives on merit, while the other wallows on mediocrity. One progresses on creativity and the other stifles people aspirations with conformity. One advances with the spirit of positivism and the other regress with the spirit of negativism. until good thinkers are in the driver’s seat , progress will be at snail pace.

All advancement in life is the product of someone or some peoples sustained thinking in a particular direction or subject matter over a period of time. There is no scarcity of opportunity: there is only scarcity of resolve to think out a solution. If you want progress, fill you mind with progressive thoughts. Saturate your mind with the thoughts of your expectations. Take action continually until you receive your desires. All men are basically product of their thinking. And, as a man continue to think, so he will remain.
Whom you are is a by-product of what you think you are. No one can grow in status above his level of imagination. Success is not a product of luck, it is an outcome of the dominating thoughts you permit to occupy your mind. Your current status is an outcome of your past and recent thoughts.

Do you want to succeed in life? Do you want to achieve more? Then think more and start to do more where you are. As you grow your thought, you will surely grow in status.
The moment your thoughts and deeds outgrow your present status, success at a higher level will beckon on you.

All success conscious persons must have regular sessions of reasoning to move their Endeavour to the next level. Carefully consider the options before you. Seek alternative means. There will always be a way for the person who refused to give up.

Have foresight. Anyone that always uses immediate gratification to decide on present challenges is not a thinker. All thinkers are futuristic. Future consideration is a major determinant in a thinker’s mind.

Keep Good Association. According to Proverbs 27 vs. 17. Iron sharpeneth iron: so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. When you continue to associate with intelligent people, you will be compelled to improve your intelligent quotient (I. Q.). The quality of your decisions will improve and your life will be the be the better for it. The more good advice you get as you journey on in life, the more likely you are to succeed.

Reading. There are too many people who have never read any book since the graduated from higher institution. Do you want to be wise? Then study the book of Proverbs regularly and apply the divine wisdom therein to your life situations.

The Bible is a book that is full of applicable wisdom. Apostle Paul urge timothy to give attention to reading (1 Timothy 4 vs 13) when you study widely in your area of Endeavour, the quality of your thinking will be enhanced for better performance.

Ideas Mean Nothing Without Action

February 4th, 2010

So you have this awesome idea for something new that you just know that people would love. It could be an idea for a fantastic book (or even a whole series of books), an incredible movie, a unique and original video game, or an innovative invention that would make many people’s lives easier and better.

A Commonality All Ideas Share

Whatever your idea may be, one truth applies to all of them: even if you have the greatest idea in the world it means nothing if you do not take action. The people who make a real difference in this world are those who take action toward making their ideas a reality. Many people walk around with all kinds of great ideas in their head every day, yet only a few ever take action on them.

Get Your Ideas Down On Paper

The first action to take is to write all of your ideas down. Going into a lot of detail is not crucial at this early stage; a sentence or two that encompasses the general essence of your idea is sufficient. The reason you want to do this is because it will let you see your ideas from a different perspective. You will find that some ideas just will not work once you see them on paper, and some ideas will work out much different than you had originally imagined. The good thing is that some ideas you were unsure about can turn out to be real winners. Before moving on to the next step, make sure to write down every idea you have, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be. Sometimes the smallest idea can end up making the biggest impact.

Explore Your Idea In Detail

Once you have all of your ideas written down, start by picking the one idea that interests you the most and expand on it. Take as much time as you need to explore your idea in as much detail as possible. Some ideas may only take a few sentences, others may take a full page or even a dozen pages, and some big ideas might fill a whole notebook! After doing this you will have a much clearer view of your idea, including the things you still need to learn more about to make your idea a reality. At this point you are ready to begin work on the first draft of your idea.

Overcome The Inevitable Roadblocks

As you work on the first draft of your idea, you will eventually come to a point where you need to acquire more information to proceed. Many people that reach this first real roadblock get discouraged and give up, unfortunately. There is a wealth of information on just about any subject you could need, most of the time for free from the Internet or your local library. If you are unable to find a free source to help you, you may need to spend some money to get the information you need. Do not let this common obstacle stop you as it has many others in the past.

The Two Key Ingredients

There are two key ingredients that will help determine your level of success in making your ideas a reality. The first is having the courage to actually begin working toward realizing them. Even more important, though, is having the persistence to keep going regardless of whatever may come. Remember that anything of worth will take lots of time and hard work to accomplish, with many obstacles to overcome along the way.

A Positive Attitude Breeds Success

February 4th, 2010

Setting goals and achieving success in your life is an ongoing process which requires commitment on a daily basis. Let’s take a look at some basic things that you can do to increase your productivity and help inspire you to achieve the success that you want and deserve out of life.

Start your day off right! Just like your body needs fuel at the beginning of the day, so does your mind and spirit.

A positive attitude is your best defense against the many challenges that will come your way throughout the day.

Begin each day by looking at all of the things you have to be thankful for and decide to have a terrific day.

Let’s say for example that you get up each day and go to a job that you absolutely hate.

Well stop for a minute and ask yourself, “what if all of a sudden this job went away and I no longer had it?” How would that make you feel? Would you be overjoyed or would you be terrified?

If you are one of those who would fall into the “terrified” category, then I think that you would probably be happy to have the crummy job than no job at all.

So you see, it’s all a matter of perspective. Be thankful for the job that you have and use your dissatisfaction as a motivator to change your current situation.

Anticipate obstacles that you might encounter during the course of your day and talk yourself through what you will do if and when they arise.

Select a book or a website that provides daily quotes or motivational readings and read one small passage. Then focus on it throughout the day. I have found that focusing on a small inspirational quote that I can easily recall is more beneficial than reading large amounts of material that add no value.

Develop a self talk quote and repeat it to yourself at a designated time or when you feel yourself slipping into a negative frame of mind.

Most importantly, make up your mind that you are going to have a good day no matters what happens.

Challenges are merely opportunities posing as threats. Engage them with confidence and a positive attitude and you can reap huge rewards.

Don’t wait until your life is in such a mess that it becomes difficult or seems impossible to change for the better. Start today, start right now. You have the power to create positive changes in your life.

Your positive attitude is the secret weapon that can propel you into leading a successful life!

Be Present, Take Action, and Be Successful!

Money Mind Set … Law of Attraction

February 4th, 2010

One of the most essential ingredients to run your life is money. Your experiences in day to day living must have made you realise how difficult or easy it is to make money on a regular basis. Does money flow to you easily or do you have to work very hard and put in efforts to earn money?

These questions are thought provoking and your thoughts will reveal your mind set about money and richness. Your life experiences will reveal whether you have a mind set for wealth or you lack the mind set for it. It is actually your mind set that creates your experience.

Have you ever realised this important truth, that it is your thoughts that trigger your emotions. Your emotional state emits a specific “frequency” of energy to the universe, and the universe returns events and experiences into your life, that correspond with your emotional frequency. Your mind set is actually the way you think and believe on a regular basis. This in turn activates The Law of Attraction.

When you think and feel positively on a regular basis, everything in your life seems to “flow” more easily, including money. When your thoughts and emotions lean more toward the negative side on a regular basis, you experience more problems, setbacks and financial lack in your life.

Also important are your beliefs. Your beliefs form the structure of what is possible for you. If you believe you have to work hard to have a lot of money, you’ll create exactly that experience for yourself. If you don’t believe you deserve more than a certain amount of money, you’ll block more from money from arriving. Whatever your beliefs are, they are your TRUTH, and you will subconsciously create evidence that supports that truth over and over again until you learn to do things differently.

Get more when you live with less

February 3rd, 2010

Many of us are probably guilty of these. We keep the clothes that we no longer wear, bags that we no longer carry, shoes that we have long forgotten, toys that our children have outgrown, books and magazines that we no longer read, electronic gadgets that we no longer fancy, freebies that we do not need.

Imagine the space we could free up if we would just move them to where they belong. Even if we do not need the extra space, we would certainly feel better and more organized with less clutter around. So rather than leaving them to collect dust and having to spend time cleaning and arranging them, why not do something meaningful? Give them away, donate them, sell them or do a trade-in.

Do you sometimes buy more than you need, eat and spend more than necessary? and… guess what? You have no choice but to work harder to keep up with your lifestyle. Do you go for the latest gadget when the one you have is still serving you well? Do you choose bigger house and car when you can make do without the extra space or power?

To live with less, one needs to be disciplined. Resist impulse buying. Always ask if you really need the stuff. Can you do without it? Will you use it often? Also, even if things are offered for free, do not keep them if you have no use for them. You can help play a part to save our ailing earth.

Instead of pursuing material possessions that bring only temporary comfort and joy, why not spend the time to seek happiness in life’s simple pleasures. When you take your focus away from material things, do not be surprised if your sight, hearing, taste buds and even your sense of appreciation of nature and beauty would sharpen tremendously.

When you live with less, you will have more time with your loved ones, to do the things you enjoy and to help others. What a blessing!

How Meditation Techniques Can Give You a Boost in Confidence

February 3rd, 2010

Are you looking for a way to boost your confidence? Maintaining one’s confidence in these trying times can be difficult. It appears that everybody is depressed and moody, there aren’t any jobs, and all of the economic is confusing and not encouraging. This means we have to muster up all of our internal strength and find a way to tough it out. Certain meditation techniques can help us do this.

We’re told to make positive affirmations every morning in the mirror, but the problem is that these don’t have lasting effects. The reason is that these affirmations are made while we’re in the conscious beta wave state. Positive affirmations have to be sunk and entrenched in the subconscious mind if they are going to have any lasting effects.

Research has shown that our subconscious mind controls 90% of our every day actions and thoughts. The subconscious mind can be a positive influence in your life or it can be a drag. It doesn’t matter how many times you try to tell yourself that you’re okay, if your subconscious mind doesn’t believe it, you won’t be.

The subconscious mind has to be filled with positive thoughts and beliefs be it will let anything good happen. A subconscious that is predominantly full of positive convictions will inspire you and give you a boost in confidence.

To reconstruct the subconscious mind requires a certain amount of mind control and to be able to use meditation techniques effectively. You have to slow brainwave levels from the conscious beta state to the meditation ranges of alpha and theta. It is in these lower states that the subconscious mind can be accessed and the work of rebuilding can begin. This is when we can sweep out the negatives and fill with positives.

There are numerous different meditation techniques available, but they must be learned and practiced to become effective. You must also meditate on a regular basis to get lasting results. Fortunately, modern technology provides a way known as binaural beats mp3’s that makes meditation easier and quicker to get results.

Binaural beats downloads are designed especially to use the process of brainwave entrainment that coaxes the brainwaves gently into those meditative ranges of alpha and theta. All you have to do is put on a set of stereo headphones, find and quiet and relaxing spot, and let the binaural beats do the rest.

By following these meditation techniques while listening to binaural beats mp3’s and making the subconscious mind a positive influence, you will form a solid foundation to face the difficulties of life. This is give you a boost in confidence and keep you out of that dark pool of gloom and doom.

If you want to learn more about this meditation technique, visit this site for more uses of binaural beats downloads
